From pounding players on a field to pounding beats in a studio, OG Rolla is a triple threat in the River Region’s music business artist, producer and engineer.
“I actually was an artist before I was a producer,” OG said. “I had a lot of music up, and took it down. I’m in the process of kind of remastering things. Going to make a lot of beats over, and going to re-record stuff.”
OG said his upcoming album of that work will be a mix of hip hop and R&B.
“It’s not me singing the R&B. I wish I could,” he said. “I have a good friend of mine that I grew up with, and she’s going to do some work on it.”

Musician Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso has had quite a year. His Malamu was and still is such a hit, recently winning him Song Of The Year at the Zzina music awards. He talked to Nathan Atiluk about his love life and music since his return from the USA in 2014.
Do you consider yourself lucky because you have the gift to begin with?
I don’t think I am lucky; I think I am blessed. There are many times my luck runs out but my blessings never stops. Everybody does not have to understand my journey. What matters is their support.
“I’m so happy. I’m from Butambala but I’m so happy that my friends and family made this ceremony a success,” he said amidst tears.
Kabako also revealed that unfortunately, his mother can’t see the function because she’s blind and his father passed on. However, he is grateful that he has the chance to celebrate love with his best friend.
“I’m so happy to celebrate love with my best friend. I love this one. We would be going for a wedding ceremony now but I’m still happy that we have the introduction today,” he revealed.
