School districts and universities in Lane County are preparing to vaccinate the newly-eligible population: all Oregonians 16 years and older. Among those who are eligible are college students. The University of Oregon said they have been partnering with local agencies to provide access to vaccines to their staff and students. Vaccination clinics on campus will be held on April 21 and are now full. UO students said they are excited to get their shots. I m actually an out-of-state student and I have to go on flights every time I go home, said UO freshman Elizabeth Yost. It was really stressful without being vaccinated so I m really looking forward to having that extra security.
