Before the COVID-19 pandemic changed daily life, San Diego County was home to a wide array of in-person classes, support groups, conferences and workshops aimed at educating family caregivers and helping them feel less isolated.
As the world shut down and the “new normal” of Zoom video chats was born, it left some caregivers, who were uncomfortable with interacting with others online, in the dark.
