For one and a half years (Since October 2019) he has caused the NDDC to be run by a succession of interim managements while putting on hold the Governing Board nominated by Mr President and confirmed by the Senate in line with the NDDC Act. The piece credited to one Etim Etim and published in one of the mainstream media of Tuesday December 29, 2020, under the headline, ‘NDDC: Let’s Give Akwa A Chance’ in response to the paper’s principled editorial questioning the appointment of Mr Effiong Okon Akwa as sole administrator of the NDDC is replete with lies, half truths and innuendos.
It is at best another PR job by a man who clearly identifies himself as a public relations practitioner, the journalist bit a clear design to put a veneer of rationality in his PR treatise for Mr Effiong Akwa and the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godswill Akpabio.
