Man fatally shot in Spring Valley

A man was fatally shot in
Spring Valley Monday night.
Police
say they responded just before 10 p.m. to the corner of Fred Hecht Drive and
Rose Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police came from all over Rockland to assist with crowd control and in the hunt
for the shooter.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
No other information on the shooting has been released. Police asked anyone with information on it to contact them at 845-356-7400 or tips@villagespringvalley.org.
Village police were helped by Clarkstown police, Ramapo police, Orangetown police, state police, Rockland County Sheriff s Office, Westchester County police, Spring Hill EMS, Spring Valley Fire Department, Rockland County Paramedics, Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, FBI Safe Streets and Chaverim of Rockland.
