PCHS names Top Ten students, Honored Educators
PORT CLINTON - The Top Ten Students of Port Clinton High School and the other Ottawa County High Schools usually attended the annual Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet with their honored educators.
This year, PCHS Top Ten and honored educators were recognized in the PCHS Performing Arts Center on April 28. An honored educator is a person in the educational system who the student has been profoundly influenced by and who they choose to honor.

Lions and Kiwanis team up for food donation project
Collections dropped off at three sites in county
FREMONT - The Fremont Lions and Kiwanis Club carried over their joint service project into April on Tuesday, as the two groups collected nonperishable food items for the Sandusky County Food Pantry and Pontifex Inc.
Donna Thatcher, vice president of the Lions Club, said the project started in March with residents driving through and dropping off food and monetary donations at four sites in the county.
Kiwanis members have been delivering donations to Pontifex, with Lions members delivering to the Food Pantry.
New take on something started a couple of years ago
