BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - Students at Fairfield High School say COVID-19 restrictions won’t stop the class of 2021 from continuing an annual tradition.
Each year leading up to graduation, the seniors walk through the hallways of their elementary school, wearing their cap and gown.
They stop and say hello to former teachers and get a chance to take a trip down memory lane.
Elementary school students also make signs to cheer on all the seniors and their accomplishments.

FAIRFIELD – ART Metals Group will build a 30,000 square foot addition to its Symmes Road manufacturing plant to expand its production capabilities.
The 40,000-square-foot stamping and bearings manufacturer plans to select a contractor next week for the $2 million project with construction beginning soon after, said Marlon Bailey, the company’s president and chief executive officer.
“We’re very excited about this project,” Bailey said. “What we know is we’ll have success by staying in this area. There is education, training, and good employees.”
ART Metals Group will celebrate its 80th anniversary next year and has been in Fairfield 25 years.
The project also includes adding new machinery and equipment totaling $3.1 million, expected to arrive this fall. Construction should be completed no later than the first quarter next year, Bailey said.
