Two prisoners attempt suicide

KASUR: Two inmates of Kasur jail attempted suicide on Friday. Javed, an accused of robbery, and Pervez, an accused of kidnapping, tried to commit suicide by inflicting cuts on their bodies with razors. Kasur B-Division police have registered a case.
2 WOMEN ABDUCTED: Two married women were abducted in two separate incidents on Friday. Accused Sharafat and his accomplices kidnapped the daughter-in-law of Faqir Hussain near Qutba village.

LAHORE:
At least four people including a woman were killed while six others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
A 50-year-old man was hit by an unidentified vehicle while crossing Sheikhupura Road, near Adda Johal.
He was rushed to Allied Hospital Faisalabad where he succumbed to his injuries. In addition to this, 32-year Shoaib, the son of Nawab, was killed in a vehicle collision on Chiniot Road, Faisalabad.
Moreover, 35-year-old Irfan, the son of Afzal, sustained injuries after he fell from a motorcycle on Shahkot Road.

Four children among 13 injured in the accident
KHUSHAB:
At least seven people died and 13 others were injured in a collision between a passenger van and a mini-truck amid dense fog on Wednesday near Khushab.
The accident took place on the Botala- Mianwali road. Five men and a woman were killed on the spot, while one person died later in a hospital. Four children and a woman were among the 13 people injured in the accident.
According to witnesses, the accident took place because of speeding amid the fog near Botala in Khushab district.
