Daniel J. Boyle ESCANABA Daniel J. Boyle, age 83, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, 2021, at DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette. Dan was born Nov. 2, 1937, in Escanaba. He is the son of John and Frances (Burkhart), Boyle. Dan was a lifelong resident of Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba Senior High School in 1956. He attended Ferris Institute in Big Rapids, Mich., and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 1959. After college, Dan joined the Army for two years and re-enlisted as an Army Reservist. He ended his military career in 1965. Dan was very proud of his time in the Service and spoke highly of it often to his kids and grandkids.
