One man, who was within the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police enquiries are ongoing and officers remain at the scene.

Hawthorn Street, between Memel Street and Fernback Street, has been shut down by police. Officers remain at the scene to divert oncoming traffic.
UPDATE: The road has now reopened. A statement from Glasgow City Council s Traffic Control & Management Bulletin reads: Following a Road Traffic Incident, Hawthorn Street is closed between Memel Street and Fernbank Street. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At 5.55am on Monday, January 25, we received a report of a van having crashed into parked cars on Hawthorn Road. “The road was obstructed for a short time while uplift of the vehicle was arranged and fully reopened at 7.20am.”
