Fourth day of school closures follows coldest night in a decade
| Updated: 08:41, 11 February 2021
Hundreds of children in West Norfolk and neighbouring districts are facing another day of school closures following a freezing night.
Many schools are re-opening this morning following the disruption caused by the freezing weather this week.
But 17 schools in our area are either fully or partially closed today, with officials in many areas reporting compacted snow and the very low temperatures are making it too dangerous to open.
Temperatures were expected to plunge as low as minus nine overnight, making it the coldest night for up to 10 years.

A new primary school, built close to hundreds of new homes in North Lynn and Gaywood, could open to pupils for the first time next month.
Building work on the £8.5 million Greenpark Academy is now nearing completion, following a two month suspension earlier this year during the first coronavirus lockdown.
And members of Norfolk County Councilâs ruling cabinet this week approved plans to transfer the site to a schools trust, with the primary it is replacing coming into the authorityâs hands.
