âOne local resident is partnering with multiple organizations to bring vaccine clinics to the Linden and Fenton area. âLinden High School is hosting a COVID vaccine clinic Saturday, May 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation will host a vaccine clinic at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center on Saturday, June 5 from 3 to 6 p.m âLocal resident Rob Rossow, pharmacist/owner of the Clio Road Pharmacy in Flint, said theyâre partnering with Linden schoolâs Community Education and Food Service Director Debbie Brindle for the Linden schools clinic. âThis event will offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for anyone 12 years old and older and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for those 18 and older. ....
âLocal educators are finding innovative ways to take their students on field trips during a pandemic. âWorld of Wonder Ellen Street Campus created a StoryWalk® for the students, which consists of laminated pages from a childrenâs book installed along an outdoor path. âOn Wednesday, Feb. 3, all of the Young 5 students at the school took a walk through Rackham Park behind the Fenton Community and Cultural Center where 35 posters are set up. On these posters are pages from the photographic childrenâs book, âThe First Snow in the Woodsâ by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick, Michigan award-winning authors, photographers and filmmakers. ....
