âThe Fenton Kiwanis Club is offering community members the opportunity to proudly display an American flag on their home lawn for all 2021 patriotic holidays â Memorial Day through Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day through Patriotsâ Day and Veteransâ Day.
âFenton Kiwanis members will post a flag on your lawn for the designated holidays and then take it down afterwards.
âMark Suchowski, Fenton Kiwanis president, said, âWhat a great way to show your pride and display the colors â while Fenton Kiwanis does the work.â
âAll profits from the Kiwanis Flag Project will be utilized to fund Fenton Kiwanisâ many community service projects, especially scholarships for KEY Club members at Lake Fenton High School and Fenton High School.

During this time of the year, school districts, service groups and local businesses are working together to provide food and gifts to families who need some extra support. Year after year, I am amazed by the outpouring of love and compassion from our community to make sure our families can put food on the table, meet their familyâs basic needs and provide Christmas gifts for their children. In spite of the unique challenges we have experienced this year, our community is still exhibiting the same generosity they have for many years.
This holiday season, Lake Fenton Community Schools has partnered with the FirePlace Bar & Grille and The State Bank to provide a holiday meal for our families. Thanks to the generous donations from our community members through The State Bank âChange for Kidsâ program and the generosity of the FirePlace restaurant, 38 families will receive a full dinner including a homemade dessert.Â
