Picture: LITIA CAVA Local drug traffickers were making between $5000 and $10,000 a day from the sale of cocaine and methamphetamine in the domestic market, says Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Christopher Pryde. He highlighted this while speaking at the Fiji Police Force Command Group Retreat at the Pearl Resort in Deuba, Mr Pryde said illicit drug activities were raking in more than $10 million per annum. “We need to continue to hit drug dealers where it hurts the most and that is by removing the profit they make from their illicit trade,” he said.
