(WVIR) - The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport is getting nearly $3 million in federal funding. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine announced 11 airports across the commonwealth will split more than $19 million in economic relief. CHO will see approximately $2.9 million and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport in Weyers Cave will see just over $1 million. The funding will support costs for operations, personnel, sanitization, and more.
