The additional location is Saigon Hi-tech Park in District 9, which is aimed to mark the establishment of Thu Duc City. The city, which is the merger of districts 2, 9 and Thu Duc, will officially come into existence on March 1.  The low-range fireworks will be held at the park. HCM City was earlier permitted to organise high-range firework displays at the entrance of Thu Thiem Tunnel in District 2 and at the 81-floor Landmark 81, Vietnam s tallest building on New Year’s Eve.

Two imported COVID-19 cases, four recoveries reported | Health

Both new cases are Vietnamese citizens, including a 26-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman, who returned home from Germany and Canada. They have been quarantined upon their arrival.
