HCM City approved for one more place for New Year firework display
HCM City has been allowed to organise firework displays at one more location on New Year’s Eve.
The additional location is Saigon Hi-tech Park in District 9, which is aimed to mark the establishment of Thu Duc City. The city, which is the merger of districts 2, 9 and Thu Duc, will officially come into existence on March 1.
The low-range fireworks will be held at the park.
HCM City was earlier permitted to organise high-range firework displays at the entrance of Thu Thiem Tunnel in District 2 and at the 81-floor Landmark 81, Vietnam s tallest building on New Year’s Eve.

12,000 health clinics nationwide. Paperwork, which used to cost these
establishments 50 to 70 percent of their total working time for making reports,
will be managed on a single app starting January 2021.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded two new
imported COVID-19 cases on December 30, bringing the total number of infections
to 1,456, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention
and Control.
Both new cases are Vietnamese citizens, including a
26-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman, who returned home from Germany and
Canada. They have been quarantined upon their arrival.
The man is now treated at the National Hospital for
Tropical Diseases No. 2 in Hanoi’s Dong Anh district, while the woman is
treated at the Cu Chi
COVID-19 treatment hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
Of the total infections, 693 are domestically-transmitted
