The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating the source of a package containing two preserved fetuses in glass jars sent to the city's medical and science Mütter Museum.
The Historical Medical Library at the Mütter Museum is now open to the public for the first time in its history. On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can checkout rare artwork, photographs, handwritten letters and books dating back to the 13th century. The museum also is hosting two other events this month to close out the summer.
