the predawn attack, another instance in the crossfire between hamas and israel that began last monday comes as u.s. envoy are on the ground there today to help cool the fire. nbc news corn correspondent raf sanchez is in beirut with more details. jonathan, in just the last few minutes, hamas followed through on that threat and fired a large and heavy barrage of rockets against israeli cities. as we speak, israeli families are in bomb shelters. parents holding their children close and hoping that the iron dome missile defense system will keep them safe. ten people have been killed in israel in the last week. we have no immediate reports of injuries from this latest rocket fire. but that comes in response to that deadly overnight israeli air strike in gaza city killing at least eight children. we now have more than 50 children killed in gaza, in the last week. i have asked the israeli military this morning, what was the target? what were you aiming at in gaza city? they have
