MZUNI Graduands Demand Details of Graduation Ceremony Mzuzu University 2019 graduands have given until 12 February the university management to release details of their graduation ceremony scheduled for February 26, saying they are forced to act because management is playing games. Secretary of the graduands Andrew Maliro has today Tuesday said management has been postponing their graduation ceremony since finishing studies in 2019 and giving a string of excuses which include the spread of Coronavirus and installation of President Lazarus Chakwera as Chancellor of the institution. Mzuzu University management is yet to comment on the matter, which the graduands presented during a press briefing in Lilongwe. ....

MHRC Calls For PPEs For All The Malawi Human Rights Commission MHRC has called on the government to consider providing personal protective equipment to all Malawians regardless of age. MHRC Executive Secretary Habiba Osman told Zodiak yesterday that much as the human rights body appreciates the new preventive guidelines, government should make sure that the rights to education and life should be safeguarded at all times in the midst of the global pandemic. Every person must have access to PPEs regardless of age, status, sex, and everything else, Osman said.
