On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Zachary Taylor Mudd passed away, in Los Angeles, at the age of 42. Zachary was the beloved son of John E. Mudd (Tina) and Victoria A. Heeren (Dennis). He was the brother of Alexis A. Mudd, Sarah Capezio (Brian), John Patrick Mudd, Matthew Spalding (Grace), Ashley Heeren, and Kyle Heeren. Zachary also leaves behind many nephews and nieces.
Zachary was born at Stag Hall in Port Tobacco, Maryland, on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1978. Following his birth, Zac and his dad promptly sat down to watch a football game. He was raised in Charles County until graduation from La Plata High School in 1996. Zac participated in traditional activities like Little League Baseball, Cub/Boy Scouts, had a stint playing trumpet in band, ran LPHS cross country, went to Boys State, recognized in a Renaissance program for gifted artists, Honor Society (some of the time), and JROTC program.
