We are greatly saddened to announce the death of Ronald A. McIntyre, also known as Dad, Ron, Ronnie, Gramps and Papa Mac.
Ronald McIntyre was born on November 23, 1934 in Bangor, Maine, to Margaret McIntyre.
Ron went on to live his whole life in Lincolnville, graduating from Camden High School in 1953. In Ron’s younger years, he was well-known for his love of baseball and threw a wicked curve ball. Later on in life, when playing ball was no longer possible, he enjoyed watching the Braves and the Red Sox.
During Ron’s years in Lincolnville he was an involved member of the community, serving as a member of the Lincolnville Volunteer Fire Department and instrumental in the fundraising efforts and construction of the Lincolnville Community Building. Ron became a well-known builder in the Midcoast area building everything from chicken barns, to homes, to completing small home improvement projects.
