top of the hour this friday. i m jim sciutto. i m erica hill, and right now all five former police officers charged with murder and other charges in the death of tyre nichols are inside of a memphis courthouse. they are set to be arraigned on seven charges including second-degree murder and aggravated assault. this morning the shelby county district attorney said that the prosecutors are still looking into charging a sixth former officer who tased nichols in the traffic stop that night as well as others possibly. we are looking at everybody who was involved directly or indirectly in death of tyre nichols, and this is officer hemphill and those who showed up after the beating had concluded, and we will do what we can as quickly as we can, but thoroughly. now, we are still waiting for the release of 20 hours of additional footage from deadly beating and the aftermath, and it could be relevant, and cnn s shimon prokupiez is there at the courthouse, and i understand that

thanks for joining us. i m fredricka whitfield. joe biden is on his way to the southern border ahead of the north american leader summit in mexico city. moments ago, he boarded air force one and departed for el paso, texas, where he will eventually assess the situation along the border for himself. this will be his first visit to the border during his presidency. his administration is under fire from republicans and some democrats over the migrant crisis along the southern border. el paso, texas, had seen a record level of migrants and asylum seekers arriving in recent weeks, hoping a trump era law blocking border crossings would be lifted. cnn s correspondent is at the white house for us. so this trip comes just days after biden unveiled a new immigration plan. what more can you tell us about the president s visit and his goals? reporter: joe biden will spend roughly three hours in el paso, texas, a city that s been at the center of the immigration debate for years now. it
