Many may not recall, but Jim Schulte embarked on a new chapter of his educational journey in August 2005, transitioning from a 30-year legacy of shaping minds at Esparto High School to enriching the academic landscape at Woodland Community College.

WINTERS Winters Friends of the Library invites all to learn about a new demonstration garden at the Winters Library, and some outstanding plants for local yards.
Stephanie Myers, a master gardener and the creator of the new garden, will give a free virtual talk about the Library Learning Garden at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
She will show photos and discuss the evolution of the garden and what it took to get it to the planting phase – tree removal, weeding, path construction and irrigation installation.
