Nigerians In Adamawa Reject Rice Palliative Branded With President Tinubu's Picture, Says 'It's Spoiled, Substandard'

Some Nigerians in Adamawa State have rejected rice distributed by President Bola Tinubu to cushion the effect of hardship. They accused the President of inflicting hardship on the country with the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol. They alleged that the rice being distributed was either spoiled or substandard. They staged a protest on Tuesday, shortly after the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, distributed 500kg bags of rice to 1,000 beneficiaries in the state.
