interview. let s go outfront. and good evening, i m erin burnett. outfront tonight, the breaking news. former-president trump is suing to keep his white house records secret. trump filing a lawsuit against the house january 6th committee and the national a archives, as you know, of course, is preparing to turn over a very long list of records from trump s presidency to the committee. after the biden administration refused to assert executive privilege on trump s behalf. now, trump lawyers went through it and are now specifically trying to block the release of 45 of those documents. we don t know exactly what s in them, why they don t want those out there. the suit calls the january 6th probe all in a, quote, vexatiocu illegal fishing expedition. it s an attempt by congress to get to the bottom of why trump s supporters attacked the capitol. 140 officers were injured that day. five people died in connection with what happened and we all need to know why. but the former presi
