Loyal son James Thunder remembers his father, Ivan D. Thunder, who passed away at 97 in 2010, through the novels, poems, plays, and films that shaped the older man's character. Through literature and film Ivan Thunder not only learned the importance of honor, truth, duty, devotion and fidelity but found an enduring way to transmit these qualities to his children.
