So, folks there will begin to see wintry weather moving in. Mitchell county told me they heart the dot trucks running through the night there as well because they have had issues with icy roads in the area as well. This morning to give us an idea when this will start impacting the upstate too. Chris we are watching a matter of moisture moving from northern alabama into georgia right now. It is starting to produce some freezing rain back to northwestern georgia. That will head our way. We will see freezing drizzle and freezing rain developing over the next few hours. Here is a look at the highest impact areas. You can see the foothills all the way to the northern part of the upstate. The change from last night is the low pressure system now will not move over the mountains, but it will likely scoot right around this boundary. Cold air from the northeast.
