WORCESTER After much talk of nondisclosure agreements and refraining from speculation, Amazon revealed itself at Wednesday night s Planning Board meeting as the proposed tenant at the center of plans to demolish and redevelop the Greendale Mall. Several minutes into the developer s presentation, Jessica Schumer, a representative from Amazon, appeared on the screen in the virtual meeting and started outlining the online retail giant s plans to operate a 121,000-square-foot last mile station for package delivery in the area.

The developer, aided by Vanasse Hangen Brustlin engineers of Worcester, is required to submit detailed information on the project s impact on a range of topics, from traffic to storm-water runoff. A project impact statement, part of the review, has been submitted to the city Planning Board. It reads:
