New charges tonight against a tennessee man who was shot by police at the capitol this week. Larry dawson faces charges of resisting and assault of a federal Police Officer. Court documents say he passed through a metal detector twice before that shooting on monday. Both times it alerted that he had metal near his waist. The documents say that when police wanded him, dawson pulled a bb gun and pointed it at the officer. They say he was shot twice when he refused orders to put the gun down.
