Hawaii island remains under a tropical storm warning this morning, but no major damage has been immediately reported from the island, which saw heavy rain and high winds overnight.
Tropical storm conditions have ended. Locally gusty winds will likely continue today before easing tonight, with additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches possible on the Big Island as what was Calvin moves away from the state to the west.
Just three Big Island rain gauges measured less than 100% of their average rainfall for February, with several spots in Kaʻū and on the windward side of the island recording rain totals up to nearly six times greater than average.
