ST. LOUIS William Woods women s tennis (11-6) found itself briefly in an unfamiliar position on Thursday, as the top-seeded Owls dropped the doubles point to No. 2 seed Missouri Baptist (14-9). However, after a rally at the six line by Marceline Kotylak, WWU picked up its third straight American Midwest Conference/Heart of America Athletic Conference/Sooner Athletic Conference NAIA Championship Qualifier title with a 4-2 win over the Spartans.
