Next few days. thank you so much for taking the time to with us. joining us not to discuss the changing face of politics in the state of georgia, state representative dr. jasmine clark. she is also co-host of the suburban women problem podcast. i was good to see you doctor clark. it strikes me what you just heard gregg saying though about the map and what it is that he will be looking for. talk to us about how that map has changed in recent years? well greg pretty much set me up for the perfect answer and that is that these suburbs, where i live is changing. it s diversifying and what we know from the map, the general election and what we know from exit polling is that in the suburbs, warnock is doing very well. and if he continues to perform as well as he did during the general, and as well as democrats have been doing across the board in the suburbs, then i believe that warnock will be doing a victory speech ....
Suburban women problem podcast, rachel vinman. rachel, i can t help but notice your mama necklace that you re wearing. how big do these issues of school safety and school shootings loom in your household? it s huge. i mean, 75% of american parents say that this is a concern. 30% say it s a serious concern. they re very concerned about it. and i m probably somewhere in between. i try not to let it consume my day, but i am i am very concerned about that. it s not just my child. it s my nieces and nephews across the country. it s a huge issue for us. yeah, i feel the same way. how can you not? how can anybody who is conscious not feel nervous sending their kids to school right now? so, shan, because ar-15s are still shockingly easy for deranged school shooters to get, there s all these people from parents to teachers to administrators trying to come up with creative solutions. so, in indian river county, ....
Not everyone has had the same experience and it s okay to acknowledge that. i know that people are afraid and the republican party is really big on capitalizing on these fears. look at me now. my neck is breaking out. it s red. it because this is not my comfort zone but it s important and i m going to keep doing it. and i m the co-host as you mentioned the suburban women problem podcast, we interview regular women and moms all the time who are stepping out of their comfort zone and going out there and talking about these issues and attending school board meetings because it s hitting very close to home so they re not on tv, they re not making the news but they re there and they re trying to make a difference and showing up is so much part of this. just showing up and speaking out and using your voice. so well i that s what we re going to do and keep doing and try to win this race because you re right, it s going to be a blueprint for 2022 if ....
