Hostens, who wanted to be a police officer for as long as he can remember, is an Army veteran and worked for the Galesburg Police Department for 26 years.
The retailer will be the first of three national chains to open in the redeveloped Marshfield Mall. Ross Dress for Less and Hobby Lobby also have confirmed plans.
