Wakaw School closed until May 25, other Horizon schools affected by COVID-19 diagnosis

All students and staff at Wakaw school has moved to online-learning. The Horizon School Division (HSD) was made aware of additional COVID-19 cases that involve variants of concern and the situation at the school has been deemed as an outbreak by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The school will be closed for in-person learning until May 25, which is an extension of the May 17 return to classes for grades eight to 12 that was previously communicated by the HSD.
