WILTON Flags will be flown at half-staff in Wilton at the order of Gov. Ned Lamont, to pay respect to the victims and their families of a deadly shooting in Indianapolis earlier on Friday where eight people were killed.
Members of the Wilton American Legion Post 86 and the Wilton Police Department drove around town midday to lower the flags.
First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice said all of the flags in Wilton will be flown at half-staff until sunset on April 20, per Lamont’s orders.
