(Shutterstock) MALVERN, PA Malvern residents who want to properly dispose of personal information should consider taking advantage of an upcoming free shredding event organized by Pennsylvania Sen. Carolyn Comitta (D-19th). The Burke Park shredding event will also serve as a collection site for the Chester County Food Bank, though donations to the food bank are not required to bring items for shredding, Malvern Borough said. Malvern Borough this week announced the free Community Shredding Event hosted by PA Senator Carolyn Comitta. The event is happening Saturday, June 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Burke Park. The Borough reminded residents to bring paper only. No binders, binder clips, or books will be accepted. There is a limit of three boxes per car.
