Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on adding compatibility with iPad as a new linked device, meaning users will be able to link WhatsApp for iPad to their existing account in the future.
Meta has now appointed Shivnath Thukral, the director of public policy at WhatsApp, to head the public policy initiatives of the company across all three platforms WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram
Meta-owned WhatsApp on Tuesday said it banned over 26 lakh accounts in India in the month of September in compliance with the new IT Rules, 2021, which are now being amended to put more responsibilities on social media platforms.
