Min started her interview by recounting how she and her siblings first came to learn about the fight for Irish Independence.
My family was first attracted to the national movement through my eldest brother, Martin Ryan, who was then in Maynooth College (1902-06) as a student. There was a large number of students there, particularly the Ferns men, who were interested in these movements. They had a new outlook as to the means of attaining freedom. ....
