Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of a Mediapolis man following the execution of a search warrant. According to a news release, on Thursday, May 23rd, a search warrant was conducted at 15348 Mediapolis Road in reference to a drug investigation by the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force. The target of the search warrant, 45-year-old Jeremy Ryan Spears of Mediapolis, had an outstanding warrant for 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. During the search warrant, Spears was located and placed under arrest on the outstanding warrant. The search warrant was executed by members of the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Des Moines County Sheriff's Office, Burlington Police Department, West Burlington Police Department, and Henry County Sheriff's Office.
