Before you break out the pumpkin spice and fall décor, take a minute or two to celebrate the annual German tradition of Oktoberfest. If you’re like most of us, taking a trip to Europe for the celebration just isn’t in the budget, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate at one, or more, Oktoberfest events taking place in and around northern Colorado and the Denver Metro area.
As we inch closer to the end of August, it’s a good time to start planning out your list of must-try beers for Oktoberfest. The annual celebration kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 16 and runs through Tuesday, Oct. 3 with communities around the world hosting parades and festivals filled with food, live music, games and of course, beer.
