高端疫苗19日獲得緊急授權（EUA），總統蔡英文表示，疫苗是科學問題，不是政治問題，安全有效的疫苗才會讓民眾施打。對此，前綠委林濁水表示奇怪，緊急授權中的「緊急」兩個字是很科學精神的用語，豈不是政治用語？
針對高端疫苗議題，林濁水昨（25日）在臉書發文表示，走完三期實驗是科學，沒有走完卻「緊急授權」，豈不是很清楚地表示並不是「純」科學，而是兼具科學和面對緊急狀態的政治決斷的意思？也因此安全不是一定OK才有安排「豁免權」的必要？把緊急授權說成純科學，根本是設定政治陷阱的話術，林濁水認為，蔡英文何必跑進陷阱中玩遊戲？
