WELCH — Parades and other events honoring veterans, their service and their sacrifices for the nation are scheduled today across southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia.
PRINCETON — The longest continuously-running parade of its kind in the nation and other festivities honoring the region’s many veterans are on the calendar this Saturday for Veterans Day.
The city of Welch will be hosting its 105th Veterans Day parade. The small town of 3,590 people is home to the longest continually running Veterans Day parade in the Nation.
