Two Corozaleños Busted with Weed Stash in Ladyville
Ladyville police busted a taxi driver on Saturday night carrying a significant quantity of marijuana hidden inside a gas tank. The driver, Jose Maldonado, was not only operating with curfew hours, but he was also carrying a female passenger, Reina Gongora. Both are residents of Corozal District. Police say the shipment of drugs was destined for Belize City.
