Police appeal after ‘terrifying’ car chase in north Glasgow
Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving two cars in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow on Monday, 21 December, 2020.

Around 2.30pm a man was in a black Volkswagen Passat on Rye Road, near to Rye Crescent, when a silver 4x4 vehicle pulled up alongside him.
The two men in the silver vehicle were wearing black balaclavas and behaved in a threatening manner towards the man, who then drove off at speed.
The suspects pursued the man along Rye Road and onto Wallacewell Road before losing sight of him.

The male driver was threatened outside St Catherine s Primary School in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow at around 2.30pm on Monday, December 21.

A driver had a “terrifying experience” when his car was pursued by a 4×4 carrying two men wearing balaclavas.
Police Scotland said the males behaved in a “threatening manner” in the incident, which took place early in the afternoon of Monday December 21.
The man was driving his black Volkswagen Passat on Rye Road, near to Rye Crescent, in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow when a silver 4×4 vehicle pulled up alongside him.

The masked men, who were in a silver 4x4 vehicle, behaved in a threatening manner on Rye Road in Barmulloch on December 21. The victim tried to make off at a speed in his black Volkswagen Passat but was chased by the silver vehicle. He was followed along Rye Road and onto Wallacewell Road before they lost sight of him. Constable Simon Shepherd from Easterhouse Police Station said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim and enquiries are ongoing to establish the fill circumstances surrounding the incident.
