FIVE goals earned Heddon United all three points in the second division of the North East Combination League.
They were involved in a cracker with Walkergate Reserves, but had enough to hold on to secure maximum points in the nine-goal thriller.
Goals from leading scorer Jordan Phillips and Darren Jobson put them two goals ahead, but Walkergate fought back to level after the break.
They did so again to make it 3-3 after Liam Ridley edged Heddon back ahead shortly after being introduced from the bench.
Goals from Marc Tweddle and substitute Terry Hall put Heddon in the driving seat and they rode a storm late on as Walkergate hit back to take the score to 5-4. ....
