Coronavirus: UAE reports 3,382 Covid-19 cases, 2,671 recoveries, 3 deaths

More than 22.9 million tests have been carried out across the country so far.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday reported 3,382 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,671 recoveries. Three deaths were also reported.
As many as new 126,625 Covid-19 tests were carried out, taking the total number of tests carried out in the country to more than 22.9 million so far.
The total number of cases in UAE as on January 14 stand at 242,969 while total recoveries are 215,820. Death toll rises to 726.
On Wednesday, a top official offered promising news when he revealed that the UAE is currently on track to vaccinate 50 per cent of the population much before the targeted first quarter of 2021.
