TMK supplies pipes to transport gas from new field in UAE
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - TMK has supplied more than 5,000 tonnes of seamless steel pipes to the Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) in the UAE to transport Mahani Gas production to the SNOC Sajaa Gas Plant, TMK said in a press release.
The 406.4 m pipe produced at TMK s Volzhsky Pipe Plant is intended for use in aggressive environments. The 3LPP coating pipe was used to construct a 22 km pipeline to feed Mahani field production to a gas processing plant.
Under the integrated contract between the two companies, TMK has also supplied SNOC with other structural components and equipment used in pipeline installation.

The Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEC) has announced that it has decided to start a new antidumping investigation due to the approaching expiry of the antidumping duties on certain types of steel pipes from Ukraine.
The products in question include casing strings and tubings, pipes for oil and gas extraction and, in particular, general-purpose pipes with diameter up to 820 mm, SteelOrbis has learned.
