Cuomo announced March 11 that the two-week quarantine for domestic travelers will be recommended but no longer mandated.
Mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers and all travelers must continue to fill out the Traveler Health Form and follow the safety guidelines of wearing masks, washing hands and avoiding large gatherings to avoid the spread of the virus and the variants that are now appearing.

The directive from the Governor’s office says regardless of quarantine status, all people exposed to COVID-19 or returning from travel must continue to monitor for symptoms for 14 days, continue with the prevention protocols like hand-washing and face coverings for the 14 days and immediately self-isolate if they develop any symptoms and report to local health officials or their healthcare provider.
