The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied collecting a $107,000 bribe to compromise an alleged fraud case against Ezekiel Joseph Oyo. This was contained in a statement by Dele Oyewale, Head, EFCC Media and Publicity, on Friday, saying it was illogical to claim that the commission collected $107,000 from Joseph Oyo who was accused of benefitting $50,000 from fraud dealings. According to the statement, Oyo jumped bail and efforts are being made to bring him to trial for money laundering offences. ....
