For the first time in years, excluding the 2020 pandemic summer, there looks to be no big-time, outdoor music concert or festival this year in Atlantic City.
In recent years, the state has pitched in millions of dollars to bring events like the Miss America Competition, beach concerts, the Atlantic City Airshow and UFC fights to the resort.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. said no beach concerts are planned last week during a separate announcement about continuing funding for the Atlantic City Airshow.
